Justin Timberlake is in a pretty exclusive club. There aren't a lot of musicians that successfully transition into becoming movie stars!
But according to JT, ALL musicians can act.
In a recent interview about his upcoming movie Inside Llewyn Davis, Justin discussed the transition songwriter Robert Zimmerman made into folk legend Bob Dylan.
JT may not have changed his name, but he admits to taking on a persona himself and says he isn't alone.
In fact, he thinks all musicians are playing characters in public- even his buddy Jay Z! He says:
"I try to talk to people about how much acting goes into music, how much of a character goes into what you put on stage. You ever sit down with Jay? He’s not the guy he is on stage. I'm not the guy I am on stage. I am a performer. It's an elevated idea."
So if all musicians are actors, why don't they all become movie stars? Well, we suppose it helps to be incredibly dreamy! LOLz!
