Fergie and Jack Duhamel Are Officially Parents

UPDATE 4:00 PM EST: A rep for Fergie has confirmed to Celebuzz that the couple has given birth to a son, Axl Jack Duhamel.

Axl weighs in at 7 lbs., 10 oz. Both mom and son are said to be doing well.

As for the couple's name choice, Duhamel told PEOPLE recently, "Some people may not like it, some people may think it’s really cool, but we don’t really care -- that’s why we’re not telling anybody."

Famous humps-haver and amateur sing-speller Fergie and her underwear model husband are reportedly at a Los Angeles hospital as you read these words, ready to give birth to their first progeny, a (presumably) human male.

Rather, they are not about to give birth, as Josh Duhamel's part was done nine months ago, but Fergie is. Fergie is about to give birth. Let's hope it's G-L-A-M... you get the idea.

TMZ reports -- in its usual exhausting tone "her hump, her hump, her lovely little hump is about to go under the knife," ugh -- that Fergie will be undergoing a C-section because if it was good enough for Julius Caesar, it's good enough for Baby Duhamel. There's no word on how Fergie's doing (my best guess is "drugged"), but TMZ assures us that Duhamel is "being super chill about the whole thing," backwards cap, Miller High Life in hand.
