But Prince William is no ordinary first-time dad! And he's not married to just an ordinary first-time mom!
It seems Kate Middleton has proven just how cool she is once again by giving her hubby the a-okay to head out for a bachelor party this weekend despite little Prince George being less than a month old.
And it seems Wills was happy to get a little break from changing dirty diapers and sleepless nights as an insider who saw the group on a train from London Paddington station to Exeter St Davids revealed:
"I walked through the carriage on the way to the buffet car and spotted William with a bunch of chaps swigging beer like it was going out of fashion. The tables were covered with cans and miniature bottles of gin and one chap seemed to be wearing gold lamé shorts."
Whoa! We bet Kate wouldn't mind seeing her man in those itty bitty shorts! LOLz!
But we do think it's totes cool that Kate was happy to let Wills off for the weekend. We're sure there are plenty of family members willing to chip in to help her care for little Georgie.
Who knows, maybe Queen Elizabeth even changed a diaper or two!
