Damon Dash, Jay-Z's former business partner, has 99 problems and unpaid taxes are 99 of them.
Damon, who co-founded Roc-A-Fella records with Jay-Z, is now a Broke-A-Fella! It just came out that he officially owes the federal government over 2.8 million dollars… AKA what Jay-Z makes every hour(-long Samsung commercial he's in). LOLz! ;)
Damon has neglected to pay around $2.6 million in taxes in 2005 and the rest in 2011. Now, the IRS has filed a federal tax lien on him! Now that there's a lien on him, Damon probably wishes Jay would sing "lean on me."
According to Damon, he owes millions in back taxes to the states of New York and New Jersey, and he's had to foreclose multiple properties. Maybe he can get some advice from Nicolas Cage who got into tax problems for buying an island and creating Jurassic Park?
